Best Small Shops 2019 Finalist!

We're thrilled to share with you the news that we are in the running to be named 'Best Small Shop in the UK'...!

We celebrated nine years as 'the wonky green shop' this month so it was lovely to mark that milestone by finding out we had been shortlisted in the last 25 of the national 'Best Small Shops Competition'. We're extremely proud to represent Brecon, and indeed Wales in this fantastic nationwide competition, so getting into the final is incredibly exciting.

The UK Best Small Shops competition covers all kinds of independent shops from all over the UK highlighting the contribution of independent retailers to the UK’s high streets, celebrating their personal commitment, innovation and community engagement.

We have been invited to attend a reception at the House of Commons on November 5th where the winner and other commended businesses will be named.
