BRECON WOMEN’S FESTIVAL

Join Paula Keen of The Woodland Trust for a walk among the ancient trees and woodland of Brecon and the Usk Valley. Aside from her day-job of supporting native woodland creation and tree planting across the southern half of Wales, Paula has been editing Oliver Rackham's Ancient Woods of South East Wales which will be published posthumously this year by Little Toller Books. To join the walk, meet in the Dinas Road car park next to Llanfaes Bridge for a circular route along the Usk and back. A gentle to moderate walk including fields and muddy woodland paths - sturdy footwear will be needed and suitable outdoor clothing. The walk will take approx 2 hours.
